We’re delighted to announce that our campaign for Channel Islands Pride has bagged the Diversity and Inclusion Award at the PRCA DAREAwards 2023.
The awards recognise the best in communications and PR from across the UK, with the Diversity and Inclusion Award focusing on the positive impact a campaign has on the wider community.

Marking the 50th anniversary of the Pride movement, our campaign fused an honouring of the past with a vision for the future.
This fresh approach aimed to bring Pride back to the core values of the movement – making real change and standing up for everyone.
It was a message that resonated with the LGBTQ+ community and beyond, helping to make 2022’s Channel Islands Pride one of the biggest yet with a 20% increase in attendance on the previous year.
And working with our partners Orchard PR, the campaign saw a total media coverage reach of over 86 million – with 94% of coverage aligning with one or more of our key messages.
We’re always honoured when our work gets recognised by our industry peers. But it’s the work itself, and the impact it has, that we’re truly proud of.
And working on the Channel Islands Pride campaign showed us just how far the movement has come in 50 short years – and how far there is still to go.
LGBTQ+ people still face discrimination in the UK and around the world, which is why Pride is just as important now as it was 50years ago. And it’s why Mantra will continue to work with Pride to promote change and challenge the status quo.
